Earlier this year, I received the opportunity to experience MSC Cruises and their Yacht Club. MSC Cruises is a European cruise line offering European Charm with modern Elegance. With a high European guest ratio, anyone looking for a different experience would like to give MSC a try!
MSC builds large ships! With guest capacities of over 3,000 people, I would only recommend booking yourself into the MSC Yacht Club. Available onboard MSC Prezioza, MSC Divina, MSC Spendida and MSC Fantasia, with accommodation for only 150 guests, not only to you have access to all amenities the whole ship has to offer, you will have exclusive access to the Yacht Club Private areas of The One Pool and Sun Deck, Private Concierge and Library, Top Sail Lounge and exclusive open seating Dining Room.
With spacious all balcony suites, your Yacht Club Deluxe Suite averages 300 square feet including your balcony and feature a separate living area, marble bathroom, walk-in closet and a mini-bar refilled daily. Did I mention that your beverages are included while in the Yacht Club area? You are also privileged with priority check-in and boarding, 24 hour butler service, unpacking & packing services (upon request) and priority or late disembarkation.
Your private concierge team will also arrange private tours with a private photographer, out-of-hours or en-suite shopping and priority reservations for regular shore excursions and onboard services.
In your private open seating restaurant, enjoy gourmet Italian Mediterranean inspired menus while gazing at the panoramic views from your window side table. Other options include lights meals available pools side, afternoon teas and snacks in the Top Sail Lounge or room service. Feeling a little more adventurous? Venture out and enjoy a steak in the alternative restaurant or a quick meal or snack in the buffet restaurant.
MSC Cruises ships are outfitted in a Signature Italian Style of elegance, comfort and luxury. With sweeping Swarovski Crystal staircases, walnut-paneled walls and plush seating, MSC offers ships with modern day interpretation of classic cruising glamour.
The Fantasia class ships (MSC Fantasia, MSC Splendida, MSC Divina and MSC Preziosa) also feature a 4D Cinema, Aqua Park, Youth Center, MSC Aurea Spa & Fitness center, large casino center, several bars, nightclub and theater. Because there are many different languages and cultures onboard at any one time, the shows onboard are more talent based featuring dancing, acrobatic and illusionists.
If you enjoy the amenities a large ship has to offer but would like a quite oasis to drift your days away and a unique extension to your European Adventure, I would highly recommend a cruise in the MSC Yacht Club!
