Australia and New Zealand (June-July, 2009)

This is my travel blog about my exciting trip down to Australia and New Zealand. Alongside my hubby, our adventure began when we landed in Auckland and spent a night enjoying the Sky City Hotel. After a night in AKL, we picked up a car and drove north to the Bay of Island to spend a night at Eagles Nest, which was amazing. This breathtaking spot with panoramic views was truly a great retreat to which I highly recommend to anyone! It is a Virtuoso property and let me tell you, you get all the ‘bells and whistles’ while staying in this place!

From there, we drove south to sunny Tauranga to spend two nights with family. Oh, I should say at this point that I’m originally from...

Lee-Anna Sigmund, who is our beloved Receptionist, embarked on a great journey to Europe.  Read her travel blog below.

Europe in a Nutshell (October, 2008)

The adventure began by flying into Athens, Greece and staying at the Amalia Hotel in Syntagma Square, a main tourist area. Echo Valley Ranch and Spa (September, 2008)

Whether you journey the scenic five and a half-hour drive up from Vancouver through the historic Fraser Canyon or organize a private jet directly to Echo Valley Ranch’s airstrip (just outside of Kamloops, BC), approaching the four-star property from the north, south, east or west, will take you through spectacular scenery!

I just returned from this brilliant property, where I spent my vacation riding horses and enjoying luxurious spa facilities. What makes Echo Valley Ranch so impressive is...

Emily Hayes, who is our Asia, Visa, Mexico & Caribbean Travel Specialist, journeyed to Malaysia and Borneo to get more acquainted with Southeast Asia.  She writes about her trip below.

Malaysia & Borneo (June, 2008)

As a travel agent specializing in Asia, I decided to get more acquainted with the East, and so for two weeks in the summer of 2008, I journeyed half-way across the world to Malaysia.

From Vancouver, I flew via China Airlines (the third best economy class air experience) directly to Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. What caught my eye immediately were the Petronas Twin Towers, which – at 450 metres – are impressive and daunting structures in the City’s skyline. To get a better idea of how...read more!
