Africa Travel Specialist
The continent of Africa has always been part of Patricia’s dreams. It was little surprise to anyone that upon her completion of a bachelor of social work degree, at the University of British Columbia, she packed her bags for a solo African trip. Patricia landed in Cape Town, where she fell in love with South Africa’s Mother City. From there, her trip took her through Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. She has been privileged to meet amazing people, witness a wide diversity of wildlife, and experience the contrasting environments that Southern and East Africa has to offer.
Over the years, Patricia has lived in Uganda, Kenya, and South Africa, pursing a social development path, which switched to business. With the travel industry being a crucial component in many African countries’ economies, she wanted to bridge her social work and community development background with positive, sustainable businesses in tourism.
